Sign Up

CleverThis accounts can be created with an email and password, or by signing in with Google or GitHub OAuth. Depending on your instance configuration, registration may require an invite code.

After submitting your registration, CleverThis sends a verification email to the address you provided. Click the link in that email to activate your account. The link expires after 24 hours — if it expires, you can request a new verification email from the login page. You will not be able to generate API keys until your email address is verified.

Steps​

  1. Navigate to your CleverThis instance (e.g. https://app.cleverthis.com) and click Sign Up.
  2. Enter your display name, email address, and a strong password — or click Continue with Google / Continue with GitHub to use OAuth.
  3. If prompted, enter your invite code. Invite codes are single-use tokens issued by an existing user or an administrator.
  4. Check your inbox for a verification email from CleverThis and click Verify Email.
  5. You are redirected to the Dashboard. Your account is now active.

Invite codes​

If your CleverThis instance has invite-only registration enabled, the sign-up form will show an invite code field. Codes can be generated by existing users from their Settings → Account page or by administrators from the admin panel.

OAuth sign-up​

Signing up with Google or GitHub skips the email-verification step — the OAuth provider confirms your email on your behalf. See OAuth for setup notes.
